My Baby Rose Turned One!
I’m a firm believer that children come to heal our wounds, teach us and make us into better humans. My daughters have birth in me the desire to improve and become the best version of myself. Rose has taught me to let go, to become an imperfect mom, but a mom that is full of love, patience and calm. Rose is a rainbow baby, after I lost my baby boy in a very difficult way, so she also taught me the importance of gratitude, don’t take miracles for granted.
I celebrated my baby with a beautiful brunch at my house, and I was so thrilled to see her share moments with her little friends, and sisters. This day was one of the happiest days of my life, as I’m starting to come out of a shell that I’ve lived in during so many years (I will open more about this soon), but I was severely disassociated during most of my life and have finally begun to feel all the beauty, so I’m not exaggerating when I say that this day was a very happy one.
For decor, when Rose was born the streets and the house were full of flowers, and since I wanted to name her Rose, I always said that the day she was born all the Roses were born, that’s why I decided to fill my house with roses in every color. I also had a sign with her name, I just adore that name! And finally we had for menu bagels and lox and abundance of eggs made by my father in law, and obviously mimosas.
Love as always, using the decor of my other kids parties for this party. The same 1 year old candle from Naomi’s b day survived until now, lot’s of the decor that we used is the decor of my sister’s and my daughter’s b days. Proof that the most sustainable thing you can do is to care for things. As for me, in the past I always made sure to wear a new outfit for every occasion, that changed. I wore a recycled fabric top, and my lovely pink tulle skirt from ted baker.
