The Thread That Binds Us: A Mother's Day Tribute to My Grandmother, Stella

Introducing the “The thread that binds us” Collection
Some talents are taught. Others are inherited, passed silently through the hands of those who came before us—stitched into memory, shaped by love.
I owe mine to my Grandmother: Stella.
My grandmother, a woman of quiet brilliance and infinite patience, taught me how to sew when I was just a child. Her fingers moved like poetry over fabric—threading, pinning, shaping the intangible into something real. She had learned from her own father, a shoemaker whose hands carried the kind of wisdom you don’t learn in books. And somehow, that wisdom made its way into mine.
It wasn’t just sewing. It was jewelry, too. The delicate dance of metal and stone, of shaping something precious with intention and care. She showed me how to see beauty in raw materials—and how to transform them into stories you could wear.
One of our proudest moments together was making my wedding dress. I’ve shared a photo here, one of my most treasured memories: the two of us working side by side, laughing, arguing over lace, and dreaming out loud. It’s a reminder that craftsmanship is more than skill—it’s legacy.

This Mother’s Day, I wanted to honor her not just in words, but in design.
I’m softly unveiling the Thread That Binds Us collection—an homage to the artistry that runs through the women in my family. At the heart of it is our Gold and Diamond Needle Necklace, a symbolic piece that represents how we stitch our lives together, one memory, one lesson, one love at a time.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who make beauty possible. To the women who taught us how to make, from cooking, to sketching, to sewing, let's keep the traditions alive.
With love,
Carolina
